What this form does
We collect the email you enter, your first name if supplied, your guide selection, adult confirmation, each optional email choice, and a dated record identifying this form and notice version. Submitting sends these details to Geekthentic through Formspree. An accepted guide request reveals the selected download links on this site. It does not send a guide email or verify that you own the email address.
Newsletter and partner-invitation choices are separate and optional. At this stage they record your permission; an automated newsletter system is not connected. A guide request alone never authorizes marketing. We do not send your details to geek-community vendors. Before any future vendor disclosure, we will identify the vendor, data and purpose and ask for a separate affirmative choice.
Providers and technical data
Formspree processes the submission and sends a notification to the operator’s connected mailbox. The private site is hosted through OpenAI Sites; mailbox notifications use Google Gmail. These providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser details and access times to operate and protect their services. Formspree states that it processes information in the United States and other countries where it operates. See Formspree’s privacy policy, OpenAI’s privacy policy, and Google’s privacy policy.
The signup code does not store your name or email in browser storage. Existing saved event picks remain in this browser. Download links are ordinary static files, can be copied, and do not provide secure or email-verified access control.
Retention and your choices
The Formspree Free plan makes the most recent 30 days of submissions available in its dashboard. That is not a promise that every copy is deleted after 30 days: notification emails remain in the operator’s mailbox until removed, and provider records may follow their own retention terms. A fixed automatic deletion schedule for those notification copies has not yet been configured.
You can withdraw either optional email permission without losing access to guides. Contact the address above for access, corrections, deletion, or changes to your choices. We may retain limited records needed to honor an opt-out, address a request, or meet legal requirements. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to a privacy regulator.
Adults only
This signup form is for adults 18 and older using their own details. Please do not provide a child’s information. Family-oriented guides do not require information about any child. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate.
Changes
We will date material changes here. Changes to a notice do not authorize new marketing or vendor disclosures. This notice describes the current limited signup flow; it is not a GDPR or CCPA compliance certification.
